Planning and Engineering

As part of the implementation of the investment plan for the concessionaire AIRPLAN S.A., architectural designs were developed to modernize the passenger terminal at Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellín.

A special project was carried out at the Medellín passenger terminal in accordance with the guidelines for the architectural preservation of the building as a national monument.

Likewise, the terminal’s internal retail area was redesigned as part of the operator’s initiatives to improve service for travelers, covering an area of 2,500 m².

The total design area for the terminal was 13,500 m², and an additional 5,000 m² of designs were developed for complementary structures, such as the FBO Terminal, Fire Station, Cargo Terminal, and Parking Garage.
